Semi Finals

Fair play to Australia, they've scored 4 tries to 0 and fully deserve their place in the final. They're going to have to seriously work on their defence though if they're to have any chance in the final: NZ won't be nearly as profligate if Australia miss as many tackles next week as they did tonight.

Some very impressive skills from the Argentine players. They're going to be an absolute force over the next few years. Able to break the advantage line at will, offload and keep good continuity.

Have watched very few rugby games. Really enjoyed this one. Had that Argentine player caught the ball before the first half and crossed the line, wonder what would have happened after that. The second half with Argentina holding out the Australian attack was great to watch. The Australian last 'try' was terrific.

Yeah there were two crucial moments book-ending the first half: the intercept try and that dropped pass with the line open. With more polish and composure Argentina definitely could've won, and with them fielding a mostly young side and entering Super rugby they could well have that by 2019.

while dan carter is still the best all round 10 in the world, sanchez would have to be the most dangerous. frighteningly quick off the mark

Yeah, he and Beauden Barrett have that phenomenal acceleration that's so valuable in a 10. Carter used to have it too which made him quite ridiculous around 2005.

Barrett is a brilliant footballer - forget about all his other skills, he showed the other night that he'd make a great winger
