Easter & Flood must start v les frogs. Easter might not have Haskell's engine, but he's a specialist 8 and knows how to use the ball. EDIT: Or Waldrom, I guess. But that would be a Hail Mary to debut in a WC QF. Home game for him tho, etc.

Feel a little bit sorry for Scotland having led for so much of the match and at one point with the margin that of more than 7 which they needed, but if you can't finish any of your opportunities I don't have much sympathy. They messed up by not getting the bonus point against Georgia (not scoring a single try), then failed to beat Argentina and then tonight had England on the back foot and couldn't capitalise on it. As for England, I'd love to know whats happened to Wilkinson's goal kicking because it was woeful - Flood made a great conversion for Ashton's try and threw the pass to set it up, so theres no reason in my mind why he shouldn't be starting.

Well we were crap but won. Bring on the French next week.
Scotland will have all this gallant in defeat **** spouted about them but they had 2 matches in their grasp and lost both and are now on way home. Not good enough. |

Trouble is I'm far from convinced Hape or (god forbid) Banahan are serious options either. Wilkinson #10 & Flood #12 an option. |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Youngs at #9 and Flood at #10 the best part of our 6N win? Not sure why that's been abandoned.
Most worrying aspect is the front row without a doubt, Stevens was destroyed. Armitage & Tuliagi probably the only England players to come out of this with much encouragement.
