Strong AB performance in the first half against Canada. Bit of a mixed bag from Slade with a few errors, some tough kicks at goal, and some nice touches in between. Kaino very powerful so far and nice to see Guildford having such an impact - Dagg's hardly touched the ball in comparison. This is typical Guildford though, to look brilliant against a weak team. Nice to see Canada get a try just before halftime, they dominated territory and after finally holding their own in a scrum worked a good move to score.

Horrible pass from Cowan that lead to the second Canadian try, it must be said. Must've been a foot over Guildford's head.
EDIT: Lol. & scores immediately. Great work from SBW & Smith to set it up.

Pretty comprehensive effort. A bit scrappy at the start of the second half with a number of loose passes, several from Cowan, but really Canada were no match for the ABs. Thought Weepu had a good 25 minute cameo at number 10 and was more reassured in the position than Slade; not to mention his goalkicking was perfect. Guildford's four tries gives the selectors a few questions as to who to leave out - with Kahui basically assured of a spot on the wing, perhaps Jane's spot might be under fire.

Some utter rubbish from Slade in that match. Would love to see his pass completion %. Yes, he made a couple of good passes, but he made more at his team mates' ankles.
