"There is no imbalance if every even round is reverse of odd rounds. You overthink this."

" Yes. Agree with you. Also, luck always evens out. Those with initial picks in earlier rounds of this draft will get late picks in other drafts."

Comments and criticism taken on board. I had used this method in previous drafts and only received positive feedback.

I wouldn't have a problem either way, but the idea is sound:

For people who think there is negligible difference in order by the time you get to R11 it is purely a timing (waiting) inconvenience;

For people who do think that order makes a difference in late rounds, they would also think order makes a difference in earlier rounds and would recognise the differences are likely to be greater in the earlier rounds, thus a small compensation in R11 is fair.

There is some advantage in being near the top-of-the-draw in Round 1 because you get to pick Bradman, Marshall, Tendulkar, McGrath, Hobbs, Lara and Sobers; or the equivalent players for your particular draft.

So if you want to provide some kind of compensation then making Round 11 the reverse of Round 1 might be appropriate.

But really, we are splitting hairs.

That last sentence of yours summarizes it well :D

I’ll likely not be online for about 24 hours and everyone ahead of me already has a keeper so I’ll take Wally Grout.

If AndrewB can isn’t using Walcott to keep and wants Grout, I’ll take Syed Kirmani instead.

If I’ve misread and any of these guys are taken already, just give me Bob Taylor.

Hope that all makes sense!

You can PM your pick to someone behind you if you're going to be unavailable. Don't have to reveal your cards that way.
