Mcandrew has been reallly impressive again this game. 4fer overall isn't flattering but bowled way better then figures suggest in the second dig, had ussie dropped off him once and ussie gloved a bouncer to carey from him that was given not out, been great with the bat aswell.

Has there been a return to the old first innings points system this year instead of the seven decimal point system we had last year or whatever it is

First Class Debutant
Riley Meredith has come in to the Tasmanian side as a concussion sub.
Neil-Smith was subbed out after a failing a concussion test on Tuesday morning.
He was hit on the helmet yesterday when he was on 36, but added a further 24 before he was dismissed.
He also bowled 2 overs yesterday evening.

This tassy umpire must ****ing hate green lmao. First innings got out lbw to one going way down leg then second innings he got out to one he may have edged that was going way over.

International Regular
Derbyshire’s keeper Harvey Hosein has just announced he’s retiring due to recurring concussion: have to wonder how long Pucovski will continue.

Even if they were bad decisions, still reinforces the worry re. Green and lbws. He needs to find a way to stop missing (and start middling) these straight balls

I can't tell if your being sarcastic or not, but neither of these dismissals where down to him not being able to put bat on straight ones, if the ball in the first innings was going on to him the stumps green would have had bat on it, and the second one wasn't "straight".

He's definitely got an issue with these kinda dismissals but it's been overplayed by alot of horrible lbw calls.

Why would that be sarcastic? Those dismissals are absolutely down to him not being able to middle the straight ones. "Straight" doesn't always mean literally "hitting the stumps". Sure the umpiring is exacerbating it but it's the issue he has that's putting him at the mercy of the umpires. He shouldn't be missing either of those balls even if they're sliding down leg or just outside off.

Ehh, agree to disagree. I get where your coming from, the straight stuff is an issue, just don't think it's a major issue with competent umpiring or DRS, both of which are commonplace at international level.

I don't really think "misses balls that are almost going to hit the stumps but DRS says they won't, but doesn't miss balls actually on the stumps" is a real thing. If he's getting out almost-lbw it still points to the same technical flaw.
