Draft idea - may need work...

Himannv

International Coach
Ok, after some consideration, I think I'll go with these peaks for now:
  • Richard Hadlee - 40 Tests (11 Mar 1982 to 1 Dec 1988) - 1629 runs at 33.24 | 233 wickets at 18.36
  • Curtly Ambrose - 30 Tests (1 Jan 1990 and 15 Apr 1994) - 399 runs at 10.5 | 158 wickets at 18.41

Would be nice if I can decide to change the specified peaks later though.

Line and Length

Cricketer Of The Year
Apart from catch-ups after time-outs, I believe I'm up and that my selection ends Round 2.

I'll take Dale Steyn (60 Tests) 26/1/2007 to 12/2/2014 318 wickets @ 21.75 and 888 runs @ 15.31

Order for Round 3 required

For a short while I thought 15.31 was the bowling average - was thinking he was good but that good?!?!

Jack Hobbs (01 Jan 1910-13 Jun 1930) 50 matches, 4827 runs @63.51

Just a 20 year peak there.

International Coach
Kumar Sangakkara (7 December 2006 to 4 February 2014, 60 tests, 6355 runs at 67.60)

Annoyingly enough Sanga had a 63-test peak in which he averaged 69.72.

3) Kumar Sangakkara / + (60 tests, 6355 runs at 67.60)
4) Mohammad Yousuf / (35 tests, 3713 runs at 62.93)
5) Keith Miller o / (50 tests, 2727 runs at 38.40, 153 wkts at 22.92)

A good selection, but Sangakarra only kept for 48 of his 134 Tests and rarely donned the gloves in the era you selected him for. The last stumping he effected was in 2006 and only 7 of his 131 'keeping catches came in the time frame you chose.
