Straw Man really hilariously playing with fire with all his Solia, McConchie, Mitchell, Nathan Smith batting all-rounders who may have too good a bowling season to keep his team inside the lines. Far better to go for the glory of winning the draft than looking for some milquetoast mid-table respectability though, so he's on the right track.

Clarke is a good choice. I had him lined up as my 6th pick. Saw him make a good Ford Trophy 50 last season. Joe Carter in an on-line interview last week implied that he would have a starting spot in all formats.

The points system loves batting allrounders, is my view (also, part-time trash even down to Michael Bracewell level has picked up bagfuls of wickets in recent seasons). If any of Solia, McConchie, Mitchell score more bowling points than batting points they should be ashamed.

Should also note that Phlegm should start at -200 for choosing Will Williams.
