Gun bowling at the death. Ridgeway is doing nicely on defensive.

End of over 3 (13 runs) - Male Models(23-0). 258 runs required from 47 overs. RR 7.67 RRR 5.49
R. Ridgway 18 (12b) , R. Saker 2 (7b) , B. Gibbs 2-0-19-0

Indeed. Also 8 off 15 balls isn't long enough to be worth looking at.

Now my opening bowlers have gone for more in 4 overs than their last 5 overs at the death. Makes sense...
Oh come on its poor batsmen who would probably get out first ball like that. Reasonables should at leats cobble together 20s and 30s on a regular basis.

4.3 W Gibbs to Dick : Superb catch from Nitschke! Dick swivels uneasily, latching onto a short of a length delivery just outside off stump, the ball comes off the bottom of the bat and flies low and fast to Nitschke at square leg, who times his dive forward brilliantly and plucks it inches off the ground!
W. Dick c A. Nitschke b. B. Gibbs 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00
4.3 wd Gibbs to Dick : Wide of off stump. Gibbs grimaces in frustration.
4.2 W Gibbs to Saker : [catch] Wow! That one jumped off the turf and caught the batsman on the glove. A superb forward dive from Moysey who snaps it up, and the finger is raised.
R. Saker c R. Moysey b. B. Gibbs 4 (13b 0x4 0x6) SR:30.77

That's a bit annoying, I'm only batting down to 8 in this match so I can't afford to lose too many more.

The pairing of those paragraphs amuses me.

Seven down...and 45 off 30.

44.5 W Kutcher to Danthanarayana : A simply stunning catch from Archer. Even Danthanarayana gives a grudging nod to Archer as he leaves the pitch.
B. Danthanarayana c W. Archer b. H. Kutcher 24 (21b 1x4 1x6) SR:114.29

13.4 1 Kwambo to Parry : Hit wide of cover for a single.

13.3 W Kwambo to Youill : Youill has come down the track and tried to hoist that over long on's head, but instead its gone straight up! Ngwale has called for it and takes the catch with ease.
K. Youill c H. Ngwale b. B. Kwambo 24 (36b 1x4 1x6) SR:66.67
13.2 . Kwambo to Youill : [Slower Ball] A slower ball which confuses Youill, who almost swings twice before it passes harmlessly through to Odhiambo.

Just so you all know Kwambo is a Slow left arm orthodox bowler

Yeah, a tad bizarre. Wouldn't have minded so much if the 30-over rot had started with a couple wickets falling, but they suddenly seemed to stop scoring out of nowhere. Will take the win though.

It's over now.

12.4 W Ingall to Belsak : Gone. What a catch, WHAT A CATCH! Gardiner has pulled off one of the catches of the century. Belsak hit the ball sweetly through the covers. It was a bit uppish but had 4 all over it until Gardiner dived full length to his left to hold on to catch it in his finger tips.

12.3 . Ingall to Belsak : A swinging delivery beats the outside edge.
12.2 2 W Ingall to Ridgway : Ridgway won't be happy with his partner after that mixup.

Lack of 2nd spinner is going to cost me again on a sticky wicket on this windy day. Was bidding on a res-average last night but the price got a bit outta hand :(

Just had a look at my match against BEST Indies last week and same thing bascially happened. 30 over mark runs started to slow down from no where. Then just before the 30 over mark wickets starting falling all over the place. We got a half decent lower order so it limited the damage a bit. But really just a note to self to bat first on batting friendly pitches until I get a finisher or more all rounders.

Don't be daft. Some nobody with an awful record comes out at 4 down and smashes it at a run a ball. My aggressive seam specialist comes out at 3 down and scores at a run every two balls. There's always some nonsense like this to even up games I'm winning.

Apparently it's impossible for my team to bowl even the slightest bit economically, regardless of how many batsmen I rip out.

haha. To be fair, Chilcott was only ord/ord, Carew is reas/reas so should do a bit better. I'll be a bit annoyed if I lose from here.

Yea makes sense an ord/ord would come out and belt 17 off 15 during the pre-death stage while I score 27 off the last 5 overs of the innings.

How can I win against this calibre of bull****?
