Saker out. Finally.

33.1 W McRae to Saker : Good ball tossed up outside the off stump. Saker plays forward and the ball takes the edge to McCauley at first slip who takes the catch low to his right. That was a good catch.
R. Saker c N. McCauley b. G. McRae 78 (94b 6x4 1x6) SR:82.98

End of over 37 (5 runs) - Male Models(181-4) RR 4.89
T. Belsak 7 (17b) , A. Frost 6 (9b) , H. Kutcher 9-0-26-1

Should face around 260 from here, which is touch and go.

Interesting to see BEST Indies doing so well.

39.5 W McRae to Frost : Short and wide outside the off stump, Frost shuffles across and flashes hard at it. The ball clips the edge and goes straight to Weeks behind the stumps.
A. Frost c S. Weeks b. G. McRae 13 (21b 0x4 0x6) SR:61.90

40.5 W Newstead to McCloy : Tossed up on the middle and off stump line, the ball grips the surface and turns back in. McCloy realises too late and although it strikes high on the pad, the umpire has no hesitation in raising his finger.
C. McCloy lbw b. W. Newstead 2 (4b 0x4 0x6) SR:50.00

Spinners starting to work their magic. Models six down.

Required rate increasing a tad for BEST Indies. If they lose Cassimy it's even game

70 runs off the last 10 with five wickets in hand. Got my two senior international bowlers on now. But BEST Indies have two senior internationals at the crease. Unless we get Cassimy soon it is all over, if not already.

That over from Ashok will have settled it.

Meanwhile, Chilcott proves the value of a no. 8 who can bat.

I hate this game, wish our bowlers didn't have any heart and roll over, so I can see the ratings. Slim chance now, but No 8 looks decent.

Ashok to Cassimy : [catch] A hint of swing, a hint of an edge, a hint to the umpire and a hint of an index finger.
A. Cassimy c H. Ratnayake b. N. Ashok 94 (83b 5x4 1x6) SR:113.25

EDIT: 7 down now run out

End of over 50 (13 runs) - Male Models(263-7) RR 5.26

That's about what I was hoping for. Hopefully my bowlers can keep it tight.

End of over 50 (13 runs) - Male Models(263-7) RR 5.26
C. Chilcott 22 (22b) , J. Carew 14 (8b) , E. Guthrie 10-0-71-0

Bit disappointing last over, though Guthrie isn't the kind of bowler you want in these conditions. 50/50 still.

BEST Indies nine down...(this has, btw, been pretty much exactly as I'd expect a huge chase to go. Not even a lot of threes at the death. Engine. (Y))

Eleven-run win for Jaffna. Bowling triumphed over fielding in t' end.

Need to take advantage of the seamers early here. 65 the goal in the first ten.

End of over 50 (2 runs) - BEST Indies(329-10). 12 runs required from 0 overs. RR 6.58 RRR 0.00
G. Dummett 19 (20b) , C. Deshapriya 9.2-0-53-3

Jaffna Jets won by 11 runs

Jaffna Jets BEST Indies
Batting - Top Order: 5,613 5,341
Batting - Middle Order: 5,184 4,383
Batting - Tail: 2,517 2,564
Bowling - Seam: 5,177 (6) 4,144 (8)
Bowling - Spin: 5,608 (4) 3,760 (2)
Fielding/Keeping: 5,241 6,149
Overall: 93,209 85,371

Reckon BEST Indies got shafted tbh. You don't go from being 2/211 off 30 overs to being all out for 329. They lost 8/118 on a flat pitch, fair enough my spinners bowled 20 off the those overs, but still stupid. Happy with the win, but didn't deserve it.
