Based on above criteria the following sides have been offered a spot in Divison One for the CW Championship:

  • Blackcaps (451)
  • Central Districts (167)
  • Dynamo Morpork (629)
  • Jaffna Jets (865)
  • Otago (964)
  • Scaly Piscine CC (207)
  • Swamibapa CC (1149)
  • Zero Pillars and Hero Fillers (866)

The side below have been placed on the waiting list:
  • BEST Indies (718)
  • caves_beachcc (989)
  • Saggers Mob (1032)
  • Male Models (965)
  • Navman Cheesecake (430)

For the guys on the waiting list, please keep an eye on this thread for any future announcements about a potential Divison Two or if any spots open up. If we get a couple more sign ups before the end of season, I'm pretty keen to have a Divison Two.

More news on fixtures and rules to come later.

As mention above we are still looking for more managers, so keep the sign ups coming if your interested.

Is there any reason not to have a 5- or 6-team Division Two? Apart from the fact that it'll finish a couple weeks earlier?

Will probably happen but start two week after. Just hoping we get a couple more sign ups first.

Rules
- All matches to be played as Senior OD Friendlies, unless otherwise agreed to by the managers
- All matches to be played on Thursday, unless otherwise agreed to by managers
- All matches are neutral so any manager can challenge
- All teams must use to allocated ground conditions for each match ( to ensure the match is neutral)
- Teams must post any challenges on the fourm and in turn post confirmation of challenge accepted.
- All forfiet request will be based on posting of status of challenge request (basically unless you post stating the match wasn't accepted prior to start of the match you wont get the points if the match doesn't get played)
- Two forfiets and you get replaced by new manager
- 2 points for win, 1 point for a tie
- International (ICC) standard NRR system
- First past the post the winner. Bottom team gets relegated, 7th team plays a playoff with 2nd in Division Two.
- Winner of Division Two auto-promotes, 2nd place with a place off, with 7th in D1

Just so you have a basic understanding of what happens. Pretty easy on these rules though.

Division Two Announced
  • Alternative XI (1056)
  • BEST Indies (718)
  • caves_beachcc (989)
  • Saggers Mob (1032)
  • Male Models (965)
  • Navman Cheesecake (430)

Fixtures will be up next week. Also need these managers to confirm their interest. New sides can still apply, really would like two more teams if possible. So tell your friends.
