Same team and user name as BT, but I'm in Australia this time. Which was probably a bad idea as I have to start in div IV, but it'll be more interesting than playing in a country with five other users or whatever.

Australia
OD League: 5.2
T20 League: 5.11
Youth League: 5.11

Figured I'd make a thread for this so I don't pollute the Battrick thread.

Got my first 20/20 game tonight, and just promoted a gun batsmen into my youth team. He was better than all of my senior squad too, so I promoted him to there too. He's capable bat, ordinary technique, but has dreadful stamina and power, so I put him on a fitness net.

He'd train faster in the senior squad right? That's how it was in Hattrick.

Edit - I just read the rules. Apparently they train slower until they're 20, then they train faster until they're 30.

Just put all my training to whatever they looked good at, and setting the lineups with best bats first etc and best bowlers bowling. Not to sure about much else.

Results certainly look a bit more realistic. Won mine by 68 runs:

Asterix XI 202/3
Owen 90* (55), Alfred 83* (53)

The Flaming Dragons 134/8
Camacho 3/12

Code:
                  Asterix XI The Flamng Dragons
Batting - Top Order: 3,403 2,852
Batting - Middle Order: 2,940 2,915
Batting - Tail: 2,413 2,984
Bowling - Seam: 3,439 (5) 2,541 (3)
Bowling - Spin: 0 (0) 2,828 (2)
Fielding/Keeping: 3,911 3,785
Overall: 69,361 64,224

Camacho btw is my best player, and is listed for 150k (current bid is 165k):

Asterix XI >> Earle Camacho >> Details
Player Details
Bats Left hand batsman Bowls Left arm Medium
Wage $1,802 Rating 28,605
Nationality West Indies Age 23
Form reasonable Fatigue rested
Experience poor Captaincy average
Batting average Bowling reasonable
Keeping ordinary Fielding poor
Technique poor Power ordinary
Endurance ordinary

Not sure if he's worth selling or not, considering he's my best bowler and one of my best batsmen, but 165k is a fair chunk of the 200k starting money. The training system makes it difficult to train allrounders anyway.
