Easy win in T20. They were all out for 74 and chased it in 8.3 overs. It was a bot that I nearly doubled in ratings though.

Easy win for the youths today, inserted the opposition and kept them to about 5 in the RR and then chased it down with eons to spare with 6 wickets left.

Interesting name. Wonder if they devised that one from watching too many episodes of Ripping Yarns.

Pretty good training update though one of my 3 capable senior bowlers dropped a level to reasonable, which is annoying. I suppose my all-rounder popping to reliable evens it out a touch. Now have 6 capable batsmen in the senior squad.

10 Jul 2008 Kenneth Youill Experience dreadful poor
10 Jul 2008 Thomas Gaby Experience reasonable capable
10 Jul 2008 Denis Cosentino Bowling capable reasonable
10 Jul 2008 Thomas Gaby Batting ordinary average
10 Jul 2008 Noel Walker Batting reasonable capable
10 Jul 2008 William Francis Endurance capable reliable
10 Jul 2008 William Brown Bowling capable reliable
10 Jul 2008 Mark Keightley Power world class elite

    Pretty gun.

My last three weeks for the senior academy have been absolutely dire Two weeks ago I had no pops at all, last week I had this:

03 Jul 2008 Stanley Harrigan Experience dreadful poor
03 Jul 2008 Maurice McLeod Batting ordinary average
03 Jul 2008 Joe Lewis Endurance poor ordinary

And then this week I get this:
10 Jul 2008 Maurice McLeod Endurance poor ordinary
10 Jul 2008 Joe Lewis Technique poor ordinary
10 Jul 2008 Ricky Fidee Power poor ordinary

It's as if I have four players on training and everyone else on rest. Lewis and McLeod aren't great but they've cemented a spot in my XI at the moment with popping twice each in a consecutive week. The rest will all be whipped.

EDIT: I spoke too soon about it beign a dire week, my senior academy finally popped to reasonable

    Learning rapidly, I see.

    What's your team name?

Training seems to have stopped a bit here too, although my pops were decent...

10 Jul 2008 Eric Guthrie (23 RFM) Experience reasonable capable
10 Jul 2008 John Hatton (22 finisher) Technique average reasonable
10 Jul 2008 Chandrasiri Duwage (19 bought for quick buck) Batting reasonable capable

Will wait till Duwage pops in tech (should take 3-4 weeks) then sell.
