Won my tough T20 league easily, only lost the first game and ended up 3 wins clear of second. Won my YOD league as mentioned earlier.

A win will give me the English OD.1 title, would be very annoying if Eggy overtook me on the final day. The guy keeps going on about luck - when the luck evens out I'll be leagues ahead of him, I wasn't the one that started in the third divisions, got good YPs and starting squads as well as a un-neutered mutant YP.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Have already won my SOD league, think I finished 2nd in T20 and about 5th in Youth (as it was basically the Second XI).

Had a good pop today for an all-rounder.

I'm thinking I'll keep him on bowling technique, or would he best served on all-rounder training?

I'd give him at least one more endurance pop first, then work on his fielding until reasonable, with a bit of luck you'll get a tech pop during that time then go to all rounder or bowling training.

But if you didn't want to do that I'd just chuck him on bowling tech until that pops.

Cheers. :)

I'm mainly undecided on what role he is going to play, though, as in a genuine all-rounder with equal batting or bowling, or a bowling all-rounder, which means I'd give him bowling nets and leave him at capable batting.

Thing is, I have a couple of other all-rounders floating about the place who I can't decide on either.

On those two I'm leaning towards having them as bowling all-rounders because they're quick bowlers, while Atkins is a medium. My initial plan was to train these guys up to be my 4th and 5th bowler, so I can have a long tail (Gow and Huntington are ord bats).

Am going to finish 2nd in Youth, One Day and 20:20. Bloody annoying - especially the youth league. Am going to miss out on 1st in Youth and One Day just on Net Run Rate.
I'm the guy who'll be finishing just ahead of you in OD and Youths, providing my NRR doesn't dip below yours in Seniors this week. I finished second in 20:20 too, so I'm fairly happy with the season I've had.

Well looks like the ME ****ed me over enough earlier in the season to cost me the title.

Will have to wait til the luck of several people ceases to prop their sides up and some of the better managers come through.

That was some seriously bad luck though. Has he been getting those ratings all season or did he suddenly decide to set his line up correctly this week?

I reckon they've been planning it all season.

Probably had some good form updates, my ratings went down a bit because of some tit waking up and deciding to pick a 98k youth side against me last week (he'd picked 80k or less all season) which meant I needed to play a full side this week - which in turn managed to lose 8-32 against tiring/tired mediocre medium pacers and scraped a tie.

If the age updates are going to keep hapenning befor the World Cup then I fears none og my Uber-youths are going to feature for Kenya at the u19s at the end of these season. (Nothing against the cureent crop but the current manager seesnothing in them)

On a side not the bot that picked the Nat team saw it fit to only pick one of my club players.

I also fear next season the bottom is going to fall out of the transfer market

Well the squads are done before aging, so it doesn't matter if they turn 20 afterwards - Ash will make sure it works properly .

In all my infinite wisdom to slim down the squads, I decided to put a few players on the market.

3 from the senior squad and 3 from the youth (which only had 15 after the update).

It didn't register at the time, but those 3 youths were all batsman. Now my tail will start at about 5. To add insult to injury, 2 of those popped today.

You can bid on your players if you want to keep some of the batsmen.

I'm trying to upgrade my older seniors, will be a bit painful initially as most of the endurances out there are pathetic and need work. But it's a lot quicker to train 25+ guys up in endurance than in batting.

Just beat the Blackcraps (very similar to side in real life). If I was their manager I would quit, if my team was that crap.
