Only three players popped in both teams this week ;(
But one of them had a double pop ^_^

One of my youths popped to average batting. Top 5 is now all at least average, while the bowling is 4/5 average. Changed my batting order around too, after our last loss. Not sure what to do with aggression so just left top 3 to attacking and the rest normal.
Six bowlers average or better and three batters average or better, I've been pretty lucky with my youth team.

I've won both my matches by big margins, Hopefully it happens again tomorrow!

Won my One Day match by 5 runs. We looked to have it in the bag but same late order hitting brought them close. My academy pull bowler John Short isn't exactly living up to my expectations. Took 3-76.

Lost my OD game unsurprisingly.

What's everybody else investing in the academies? I was $15k on each, but I've upped that to $30k on each because it seems fairly difficult to lose money if you're not buying players.

$35k on each. Which means I'm bleeding 50-odd thousand a month though.

I've only got mine on 10k each tbh.

Senior Academy: reasonable
Youth Academy: inadequate

I spend about double the average on each academy, which isn't a huge amount in England where the averages seem to be pretty low.

Quite happy with my new buy, 325k

Should be pretty close to capable. Probably one of the best prospects to have been put on the market and that I could realistically get. Meanwhile some 19yo reasonable bat reasonable technique, reasonable keeper was going for nearly 600k at the same time... Plonkers.

A pop to capable bowling
2 pops to average and reasonable technique
Holyman now capable power, will pick him instead of Kellar now I think in Twenty20.

Interesting how power actually affects batting. I've got an ordinary bat with accomplished power, it hasn't seemed to make him score much faster than other batsmen who bat in similar spots or situations with ordinary primaries.

With 7 needed off the last over and 9 down, my numbers 10 and 11 scored 6 off the first 5 deliveries only for the final to be a dot ball.

Could've easily killed a puppy if I had one handy.

Elliot would have to be one of the best bats in the world, potential wise anyway. Did see a capable 16yr old last season though. Might almost sell some players to have a crack at him.
