5 World Cup call-ups for me.

    2 x England (McFarlane, Draper)
    1 x Sri Lanka (Yatawara)
    1 x Bermuda (Hyles)
    1 x Scotland (Duncan)

Think England, Sri Lanka and Bermuda are in the same group.

Only the 4 for me, which was surprising because as far as I knew, I only had 4 nats and Dwyer wasnt touring. Kaluperuma Dikkumbura and Kuruvilla were all sure things, but this guy:

Not many all rounder options in Sri Lanka. Was a toss up between him and either of these two guys. Can sort of see why he was picked ahead of those two.

Even by Bob's standards Kara is not an all-rounder.

Will struggle to do more than a typical Anderson/Steyn/Harmison type tailender unless he comes across a fast bowler on a sticky then they'll do well. Of course the flip side to that is if they come across a medium pacer on any pitch, then they'll be lucky to last an over.

I dont rate, or use him as an all rounder. He will be totally useless in the WC.

Well I got completely ME-****ed out of the T20 title, worse still the ****ing piece of total **** donated the title to Bongo. The day that guy genuinely earns a higher league position than me is the day hell freezes over.

My wages up to about 210k, which is still only about 96th in the list.

Will be looking to hoard some money for a change I think. Sweet FA on the transfer market. Might just pick off bargains and so on - saw a few go by last season. If I get the chance I'll look out for an uber seamer, want to just go all out on uneven pitches all season and hopefully this time the dobbers won't be taking 5-fers for fun.

Hyles up to spectacular summary on reliable form btw.

ME the same ****ing pile of **** as always. Yet another complete ****ing joke game to open up OD 1.1. A team with ****ing 3 players in it, one of them does **** all yet I get ****ing trashed by 60odd runs. Absolute ****ing joke.

    Haha.

I'd almost join you in your rant there Scaly. Yesterday I played a team ranked a good deal behind me (200 behind in country iirc, heaps more worldwide). Think we outgunned them by about 20k.

Anyway, we batted first on a flat and made a decent score (full strength XI). Come their turn to bat, we managed just 2 wickets in the first 40 overs; they were cruising and surely on their way to a win and I was ready to come on here and cuss up a storm but we then ripped through their last 8 for not many. ME is weird.
