What is the debt rules in this game. I for 74k at present. There a few blokes that I;m about to sell once they pop. But just wondering when I need to throw them on the market, once we in negative or is minus 300k or something?

Once you go into debt it'll just take away from your academy investments until your balance is back at $0. I've been there a couple of times but I always got back into the green before the finance update.

Wow what a shock my batsmen paced it so I lost comfortably despite having a near perfect innings...

K. Nandin 4 (1b) , P. Ellis 67 (50b) , S. Maqsood 6-0-55-1

Just lost a batsman last over unforunately, Ellis is one of my best 2 batsman, the other went after making a half century, so Ellis needs to go on.

Ah, so instead of them having the message that they are looking to start a country pub in Battrick, they remain in the system somewhere as a retired player? Or in your team?
They remain in the system as a retired player, so you can still see their stats, and they're included in your teams statistics list for the seasons they played and for all time stats, but they're not apart of your squad of course.

I haven't had a player retire yet so I can't say *exactly* what happens, if you get a message or not, but I imagine you would.

Edit: this thread might help: http://www.fromthepavilion.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=11512&p=329081&hilit=retire*#p329081

Edit 2: turns out there is no mandatory retirement age

What level for power do you think is god to stop training a player in altogether?

Considering it's faster in the mid-20s, I have a 25 year old who just popped to outstanding. I was going to shift back to his primaries for good but can't help but wonder if I should squeeze in one more power pop?

Eidt: is a medium pace all-rounder.

I wouldn't have gone that high for a 25yo, unless they had seriously high primaries. You have to think of long term where it basically makes as much sense to train power in the late 20s as it does in the mid 20s.

True, true. Will just do bowling training from now on. Can be used as a benchmark to see how high others in my squad should go, perhaps.

My youth team for next season, current summaries (some are in rather nice form)

Code:
                        Batting Bowling Keeping
Warden Scott 19 RFS average reasonable
Thomas Duncan 18 average
John Dorey 19 reliable
Wayne Kerr 19 capable
Coll Findlay 19 reasonable
Peter Cook 19 reasonable capable
Finlay Marshall 18 average
Albert Muir 18 LFM ordinary average
Henry Williamson 18 LF ordinary average
Malcolm McKenzie 19 RFS ordinary reasonable
Brent Healy 19 RFM poor capable
Think they'll crack whatever the best youth ratings Bob got.

So those are the ages they'll be next year and those are their current summaries?

I guess if you're in a higher league summaries would be a bit lower than those of us in the lower leagues?

I wont even have a youth team next season. There is a team that might beat me tomorrow, anyway. My youth team this season is pretty interesting:

Code:
                        Batting Bowling Keeping Talent
Upul Jindasa 18 Reliable Accumulator
Sepala Farook 19 Accomplished Opener
D. Jurangpathy 19 Accomplished
A. Rathin 19 Accomplished
Thomas King 16 Reasonable Average
B. Hurburgh 19 LFS Reasonable Reliable OBB
A. Kalansooriya 19 Reliable Finisher
F. Gupta 17 RF Average Reasonable
Eric McRae 19 RFS Ordinary Reliable
A. Hussain 19 RFS Poor Reliable Arm Ball
D. Winding 17 RFM Poor capable
Not the best ratings team, but still not bad for not investing billions into getting new players.
