Dang! Just came out of the shower to find they have already done the 3000m steeplechase.

Missed Kenya's first gold at this year's Olympics

Just in time for the women's 800m final

If thats true then its depressing as he runs the 200m over 0.5 seconds slower than the best white sprinter did 30 years ago.

Was at high altitude tbf, still great time nonetheless, it was I think the longest standing track WR when Johnson broke it in 96 (and what a run that was, I'll never forget it as long as I live)

Funniest bit about it, was that he was still as quick/quicker than Crawford

High jump now (well, SF have just deigned to show it to us). C'mon Stefan Holm (geekiest & tiniest track athlete ever)

Gah. Close on 2.36 on second shot.

    Geez, Silnov. Was 2.39 surely.

Silnov - Mason - Rybakov - Holm. Just been a class above these last six weeks.

Cracking race. Braindead run from Richards went off like it was the McDonalds League

    Silver for McLellan, no?

And that was a choke and a half by Jones. Getting tired is one thing, walking into the hurdle...

Should note, best night at the track and field easily. Nothing like seeing an Aussie get a medal and 2 yanks pulling off a major choke (even though an american still won)

Quality 1500 race too. Even though the favourite won. Massive sprints from Willis & Baddeley back in the field. Good night of running.

Can't really call anything in the hurdles a choke. For races like that, you're either on or you're not.
