Argentina 1 Canada 2
Germany 0 Brazil 0 (couple of big chances wasted by Brazil apparently)
Japan 2 New Zealand 2 (and there goes both teams' chances of qualifying...can't see either taking points off Norway or US)

Norway win 2-0 over the world's top team

Should make the semis now, easy opposition from here till there. Then it's a 75 % chance of a medal. (Y)

You should know that, as an Englishman. Your men's team has been playing like women for decades

Barcelona have won an injunction to prevent Lionel Messi for playing for Barcelona while Argentina have given Barca the two fingered salute and refusing to release him. I don't know why these people in charge at FIFA and the IOC can't make it an official event just to stop this fighting, it could be done so much more easier, but oh no these dumb ***** don't want it like that

1-1...poor defence on the corner costs australia much of a chance.need to beat ivory and hope that serbia draw or lose to them...argentina to go through undefeated.

Fair effort for Australia to keep Serbia to a 1-1 draw, especially given how much Serbia dominated the match.

New Zealand currently leading over China. Could conceivably end up with more points than Oz.

Scoreline flattered us so much it wasn't funny.

Thought we were **** actually. Too many long balls, Thompson's a myth at international level, and we should never have led. If that lot are the future, we'd better make thie next WC, coz the one after that looks like 100-1 stuff.

Playing that bad 1st up will make the gold medal all the sweeter in a fortnight's time

Good points guys, look forwards to revisiting them during your next World Cup exit
