Relevance? what do you mean?
It is a news item on a T&T ex-athlete that I have put in the Caribbean Olympic Thread. This is the prefectly relevant place for a news item like this. I dont get your point. It is news and a topical story of interest given the background and current Olympics.

Why is it news though? You don't see the names of every rapist who gets 21 years in jail written in the newspaper - most times when a rape conviction occurs it's merely recorded by the police and the judicial branch. I don't see why this should be different because he took part at the Olympics before, and I certainly don't see what there is to discuss about it - except the inevitable: some athletes, like some humans, are nasty pieces of work.

Never heard of Alvin Henry. How sad for him.
On another note, 3 Jamaicans and 2 Trinidadians in the 100m final mefinks. Liking Caribbean chances. Unfortunately for Daryl Brown, he was injured and could not participate in the 2nd round heat. Particularly unfortunate because he got injured in Round 1 in Athens. The man is widely regarded as one of the biggest talents in sprinting, but can't stay fit enough to showcase it. Also hurts the 4x100m chances severely for T&T.
