It is tough in India b'coz the ICAI in India passes only a limited amount of candidates according to the demand prevailing for the CA's in the market. So out of 50,000 - 60,000 one has to be in the top-500 to become CA and no certain reqd marks as such in the last semester. So i am not sure whether i will be able to get out of it. I don't know the procedure followed in other countries but i am pretty sure that there will be min like 40% marks and so there won't be much difficulty if you have good knowledge of the subject.

yea , nz being i small country i doubt the demand is as huge as it might be there, thats why it might be a lot more easier than india. Also there arent really a lot of people going for that sort of field , and they do need a lot more people going through it.All those factors etc work for the best

Yes, I think Journalism is in the Arts, I haven't taken that though.

And more about Calculus, that 35% was scaled up from 16%! :P

in nz we are allowed to take seperate subjects not like a group so that makes things more easier for us and thats were specialization comes in

Last semester I did Ancient Rome, Ancient Egypt (really boring, never paid attention in lectures, but somehow managed to scrape a C in the exam) and Europe 1400-1700.

This semester I'm doing NZ in the 20th century, a slight change .
