I have a severe throat infection. Haven't eaten anything for like 36 hours now.

Sounds like fun.

I remember my formal and I had a lot of fun. I won the "Forest Gump Award". I was very nervous in the lead up to the award, even though I was virtually a certainty to win it.

I really can't remember the full details since it was about 20 months ago.

I guess at the time I was the school long distance runner, and if you have seen 'Forest Gump' I guess it was based along those lines.

We had a Hollywood theme for our Ball too...
Unfortunately, a teacher came as Lara Croft. Shorts and all...

Just back from Franz Ferdinand. Incredible! But my legs and throat are sore now. The moshpit was amazing, particularly for 'The Dark of the Matinee' and 'This Fire'.

Their support band Goodshirt were brilliant also, I've now seen them live 3 times and I've been amazed by them each time. Definitely NZ's best rock band at the moment.

Forest Gump wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Methinks it may have been a mickey take out of you (as school friends are known to do!)

It also might explain why he thought it was for long distance running
