    Update on Richard

I was speaking to our old friend Richard on Friday on MSN, and I can tell you he is alive and well.

Th reason why we haven't seen him is because he has put his head down and concentrating on his exams which he has been busy doing. He told me that his final exam that ends on June 22 and we will see him back.

He is looking forward to his return here and I told him about the new changes to this forum.

We discussed about everything from cars, to playing cricket while drunk and about Roberto Carlos' staggering 120,000 per week wages according to reports should he join Chelsea.

He believes Michael Vaughan batting at 4 is his best decision and he felt Simon Jones bowled well on occasions at Lords, and he thought Flintoff was unpenertrating. He also agreed with me that next years Ashes series is the key moment in Flintoff's, Harmison's etc. Test careers.

Last but not least, Neil Pickup, Richard told me you are a lot better cricketer then what you say you are, and he told me you once hit a batsman in the head at his club when you bowled a bouncer.

    Is this story is correct?

Just missed his head, IIRC. I also had Richard himself jumping around a bit...

How delighted I am at such information (!)

It amazes me that when someone like LE disappears for a while nobody seemed to be that bothered...

    I most certainly was!

It was noticably duller without LE. Then again, it is without Richard too.

When you say everything, you mean "Harmison".

    True...

He still hasn't even admitted Harmison has bowled well, ever...
His 7-12 or whatever it was, was largely due to the West Indies all getting out to stupid shots...
I didn't know someone was capable of thinking less of Harmison than me, Ive been outdone by miles...

Rik told me after we (Cricket Web) upgraded the forum to V3 - He could no longer get into the forum, he hasn't replied to e-mails so can't locate the fault and we e-mailed everyone and nobody has the same problem so not sure there... and he basically can't be bothered going to his mates everytime he wants to log in.
