Which do you prefer. I can't stand either.

In all seriousness, I really enjoy both when they are at their best, but at their worst they can be absolutely terrible.

The JJ Abrams era Star Trek films are really bad, for example.

I’ve only ever seen one episode of Star Trek and not watched Doctor Who since Jon Pertwee was in it. I remember in the episode of Star Trek they went back in time and the good Captain saved Joan Collins life. He then of course started getting moist crafty with her. But her not dying somehow enabled a Communist take over of the World. So he had to go back again and make sure she died.

i wish i still liked doctor who. haven't seen it in years, just kinda stopped watching one day.

i really wish i was still a fan because the female doctor triggering middle aged men on the internet looks like a great time.

Eccleston was good. Then Tennant appeared and it went... weird.

Yeah I'm in this boat too. Honestly can't even put it down to lack of enjoyment in the show because I thought Capaldi's last season was great and liked what I saw of the one Whittaker ep I watched, but just never got around to watching the rest.

The best Tennant episodes (the ones written by Moffat) are the absolute peak of the show since its resurrection imo.

The rest are either very mediocre or incredibly awful.

Much like Tennant himself actually. Does an absolutely fantastic job some of the time, but can also be unspeakably irritating (though tbf that's probably down to the fact that he was given dreadful material to work with much of the time)
