It’s impossible to take someone seriously who uses a Simpsons reference in general conversation. If someone does use a Simpsons reference, they should automatically lose their job. It’s that pathetic.

The Simpsons is moderately amusing but gets far too much credit for being pure genuis by the idiot generation which followed mine
I used to be with it, but then they changed what ‘it’ was, and now what I’m with isn’t it. And what’s ‘it’ seems weird and scary to me.

I think the point is that nobody should appreciate the Simpsons on anything other than a very superficial level.

Great quartet of posts from Red Hill. Mystical, sarcastic, regressive and philosophical all in row. Best poster atm. Plus he has cool avatars.

Just hang on, fellas. In order to prove how clever I am, I have to go and find something to post from an animated tv show written by someone else. Tres brillaint.

That's how quoting anything works though, be it poetry, music, a novel or whatever. That said nerds of any kind are annoying, especially Harry Potter and GoT fans.

Nerds who think liking something is a replacement for a personality are the problem.

Imagine how impressive it'd be if, on just the odd occasion, there was an original thought. I know it's tough, and this audience is largely and obviously very easily pleased though. So it is what it is.
