Wasn't directed at me but Hurricane once called someone an "IPL Thread Poster" as an insult. As someone who posts in the IPL thread it sort of hurt.

I think that was me. He asked me to stick to the IPL because I didn’t know anything about cricket. Can’t argue with that but it was particularly dire because it came after I called him out for some incorrect opinion he held.

Somehow I ended up as one of the bad guys after he had the meltdown though.

    Wait what?

I remember he once told me I was too young to participate in or truly grasp the topic of debate in a thread about some pun a poster made about 'dark horses' and WI players

I was called "retordad" a couple of weeks back. Oh the irony.

I remember some old black dude pulling up next to me as I was walking down the street one day and addressing me by shouting "Hey white boy", before then proceeding to ask for directions to somewhere.

I don't think he was even being derogatory (it was an entirely accurate description tbf), but it was the first incident that came to mind when I saw the title of the thread.

I think what made the incident stick in my head was the fact that the area in which the incident took place was probably 99% white, so it made me wondered if this is just how he went around addressing everyone. I kind of hope it was tbh.

Not really answering the title, but I was once bullied by some primary school "mates" by being called Zam de Bruyn. I was wearing an Incredibles shirt that said "zam" and they threw redbait at me which looks like a brain while we were on the beach.

Was the culmination of a horrible weekend with a good "friend" who was also my worst bully as soon as anyone else was around. Very strange thing.

Anyway, was playing International Cricket Captain as South Africa and a computer-generated player had the exact same name. Worst part was he was a gun batsman who averaged around 50 in Tests and I absolutely couldn't leave him out of the side. Pretty annoying.

I was called a soap on another forum. Apparently it was some sort of Coogee slang. I'll never forget it.
