I am going with story line and nothing else...
Koi Mil Gaya is a rip off of ET and Forrest Gump , and has a very unconvincing end .
It doesnt deserve more than a 5 based on story line alone.
Munnabhai MBBS is way ahead of Kal ho na ho in terms of storyline.
Kal ho na ho is nothing but " Anand " ( old hindi movie ) set in New York.

Yeah, but Nayak wasnt pretentious in that the same people made the two versions.Originally Posted by vishnureddy

As I said in the favorite movies thread, my favorite Hindi movies are Lagaan, Dil Chahta Hai and Hera Pheri.
Lagaan - 9
Dil Chahta Hai - 9
Hera Pheri - 9.5
Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikander - 8.5
Sarfarosh - 8.5
All other movies according to me would be 8 or below.
Watched Main Hoon Na a couple of days back.
Kind of humbug, but an all fun, time pass movie.
Would rate it 8-ish.

I don't rate Munnabhai MBBS highly. Not the kind of movie I'll pay to watch. Watched it only in bits and pieces, and would rate it 5.
Hey, where did my sig go in the above post?
EDIT: Remember now, only one sig per post, isn't it?
Another movie I rate very highly is "Aankhen."
Not the one with Govinda and Chunky Pande. But with Paresh Rawal, Amitabh Bhacchan, Akshay Kumar and Arjun Rampal.
Govinda and Chunky Pandey **shudders in pain**
Yes the one with Paresh Rawal, Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal and Sushmita Sen was very good.
Very, very good. 8/10 for me.
I watch very few Hindi movies but am pretty up to date with the buzz thanks to my sis.
My ratings, based purely on how much I liked the film -
Dil Chahta Hai - 9/10
The Legand Of Bhagat Singh - 9/10
Lagaan - 9/10
Hera Pheri - 8/10
Aawara Paagal Deewana - 8/10
Company - 8/10
Hungama - 7/10
Judwaa - 7/10
Satya - 6/10
Fiza - 6/10
I think I'll go watch Lakshya and Yuva.
You talking to IR?
I agree with your ratings for APD and Hungama.Originally Posted by chicane
However, I don't think The Legend of Bhagat Singh was that good a movie. I would give it 7.5 or something. It was better than the other one on Bhagat Singh, but apart from Ajay Devgan's portrayal of Bhagat Singh, the movie had quite a bit of flaws.
