Worth noting that Marvel has hit a really good sweet spot with its house visual style too. Bright and punchy, so avoiding the DCEU excessive-grimdark problems, without being garish and overwhelming (read: Transformers).

As expected. Now for the inevitable time-turning in the sequel. Isn't what they tried in Doctor Strange in the first place?

I think we will be introduced to the exact sort of tomfoolery they'll use to get people back from the Snap, in Antman & The Wasp and Captain Marvel.

Yeah and we might get Adam Warlock who was teased in a post credit scene from gotg2.
I am proud of this post.

    Hey that was pretty good.

I feel like the experience was mostly elevated by the ending, but still, it worked.

Thor's stuff was the best thing about this movie - that ridiculous hammer-forging was exactly the kind of stupid **** I came to see.

Tonal whiplash is still a problem, as was storyline whiplash here, but I just have to accept that by now.

$630 million global opening which utterly destroys the previous highest of $540 (Fate of the Furious) and China doesn't even open till May 11. This could be the highest grossing movie of all time.

man, this is right up there with the Dark Knight perhaps. Very good movie, loved it.
And smalishah's avatar is the most classy one by far Jan certainly echoes the sentiments of CW

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta

Pretty much what I expected. Enjoyed it immensely. *spoiler* The Captain Marvel movie now makes sense after Fury's final text. And it has actually got me excited to see what her backstory will be. *spoiler*
