    Inspiration required

My daughter is about to produce the first fertang of the next generation.

About three months ago I was told she was going to named Ayla, which I wasn't that enamoured of, but acquiesced on the basis it could be a lot worse.

Five minutes ago whilst enquiring as to why the little lady was hanging back (she's two days late) I found out why - the poor kid is now going to be called Primrose

There must be something better - ideas please

That's a boys name. Without knowing the surname I would suggest Toplinda.

Too bad she probably won't bear your surname, otherwise I was going to suggest Bing.

And smalishah's avatar is the most classy one by far Jan certainly echoes the sentiments of CW

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta

Having been through this recently with the first on Mrs rippers side being named something zero of the family wanted, your **** out of luck.

Get used to Primrose, which will be shortened to Prim. Or Rose. Or simply P.

Course you can always just do the grandad thing and call her chicken/cherub/darling/sweetie/whatever it is grandparents call grandkids whose name they don't like but who they still love regardless.

    Cheers gentlemen

No sign of the arrival overnight but apparently Indigo has moved into pole position, which I certainly prefer to Primrose - have put NPs suggestion forward too, as she will have my surname

If it makes you feel any better Primrose is presumably from Hunger Games. Katniss sister is Primrose. Indigo doesn't seem to be a character name, unless your daughter is a irresponsibly massive Supergirl fan.
