13 km in 75 minutes. Good work.

Haven't been running since almost a year, good that I have still not become too chubby thanks to my controlled diet. I'm staying in Arlington and all marathons happen in Dallas, so basically I have to take an uber at 3 in the morning to Dallas to run a marathon, I don't want to do that.

Ouch. He should have told the PL about this when they did the fixture list!

The charity page suggests he has five to go in three months. So he's over the hard bits, can enjoy spring running now

Although his overnight stays are probably tax deductible. Good motivation.

Yeah. So much back and forth stuff. Need to spread out the long trips.

If he just did the away games alone and didn't have to keep running back to Burnley, they could have even found use for the TSP algorithm.

I'm reading it as though he gets transported (magically, using oil) back to Burnley. How else does he get there on the Sunday after an away match?

Yeah, that's right. He runs to every stadium from Burnley's home ground. You're right, there's no way he runs back as well.

Had a 6-mile training run planned for today, was feeling good so kept going (gentle pace all the way) and ended up doing almost bang on a half-marathon distance. Surprised, to put it mildly

    Haha nice.

I need to get the 10k mental block out of my head. Been a while since I've run further than that.

Been regular over the last couple of months, barring the trek vacation (which was a breeze).

Observing good improvements in both pace and stamina, and the weight loss is welcome too.

    Awesome.

I did a 10K this weekend, was expecting to clock a decent time, but I didn't sleep well the previous night, and had a bit of a cough and cold all week, so only finished in 67 minutes.

Have had to jack in the running. No matter what I seem to do, the amount I want to do (which is not much - about 6km a day) just leaves my joints and shins in total agony. Just too high impact I guess.

Instead, have gone really hell for leather on the cycling the last few weeks. Have done nearly 200km in the last fortnight.
