at this place in Auckland there's this thing called Raj Kachori which is kinda like papdi chaat but in a kachori obviously.

It is the best thing in the world and I miss it more than I miss any other food.

Raj Kachori is this big basket of wonder. You break it and find so much wonderfulness in it. Always a bit different from the previous time..

Pani puri is ok but in Pak you get Ghol Gappa which is similar but yoghurt based instead of water. It's amazing.

You get that in India as well but they call it Dahi puri.

The best chaat can only be found in Mumbai, the rest are pretenders although some places in Delhi do come close.

Anw, the usuals have been mentioned already so shout out to the sandwich waalas - sliced bread, cucumber, potatoes, tomatoes, chaat masala, mint chutney and loads of butter served in a torn page from a Filmfare magazine. Gawd I want one now.

Read this as cheats and thought it was Pratters spinning off from his retro gaming to discuss the merits of the Konami code.

I used to eat chaat every day for a few months until I realised it made me quite flatulent the next day. Mirchi bhajji's, vadas and bondas don't have that effect on me and I enjoy them just as much so I eat those nowadays.

OK, apparently bhajji and co are also regarded as "chaats".
