What if you were the moderator?

What would you do differently??? or What would you add? or remove or whatever....

As for me, I would include a CW instant messenger!

Admins, not moderators have that power, moderators's main job is to filter out unwanted/unneeded crap from forums ;\

This probably lives in site discussion...

1/ Add a chat window so all users could speak whilst on CW..

2/ Bring back PM's and the members list..

    Not this again.

I don't know how many times we'll have to explain this before people accept it.

    Absolutely.

Now, PMs? Do you think that if I do this in bold, italic, underline red, and big letters, that people will understand?

Private Messages were removed due to their large-scale abuse and misuse (i.e. spam) from several members.

    I'm colourblind, it's a big gray blur.

Sending unsolicited PM to every single member of the board a) wastes peoples' time and b) uses much more bandwidth

Using your sig uses far, far less bandwidth - and it's also far less intrusive (bad wording, but I'm sure you get it)

I think most people already did, it's just they were saying that they wouldn't mind them back. Nothing to do with why they were taken away, just that they enjoyed using PMs.

Maybe a skin chooser would be cool

And Avatar size increase would be nice, although I guess this is dictated by bandwith allowance, and wont happen, especially as we are growing rapidly...

    1) Will be done when the new version of VB is released
    2) It's a standard feature of VB's new release so it again will be there

Anyone wishing to try and speed up the bods at VB are more than welcome to try, they must be the worst people at keeping deadlines first beta was released in the early summer and we are still waitting for the final relase that was planned for October - But at the end of the day you guys all want hassle free surfing and no bugs (corrected over a 1,000 so far and counting :O) so your just have to wait just a little while longer
