    Terry Pratchett game (a tribute)

Well, I'm as utterly devastated about the death of Pratchett as anyone who was a fan of his work. The world is a little less magical without him and other assorted things others have already said. Of course, I didn't know the guy but boy do I know what he's written.

So I propose a game to remember him, promulgate his wisdom and remind or show everyone just how goddamn quotable and insightful he was. Post a link to a thread or post from a thread and then a quote which answers said thread or post in a serious, hilarious or otherwise nonsensical way. Obviously we'll initially be applying this in a retrospective fashion but maybe with time it'll begin to be prospective.

    I'll get us started.

Had this come up on my Facebook feed today from a friend:

I had the curious privilege of meeting Terry Pratchett, and being personally insulted by him, before I had read any of his books. I later rectified this oversight, after enrolling in one of the excellent remedial reading courses Pratchett pointed out were widely available.
Farewell you very clever and witty man.

    Made me smile.

    RIP.
