Good UK universities
Hi all,
To those of you who are in the UK, I was wandering what the good UK universities are for accountancy and finance. I will be going to the university next year so am drawing up a short list. I know that University of Newcastle upon Tyne and Warwick are good. Do you guys know any others I should check out. Your suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanx The LankanPrince

Better wait for Neil or someone more in the know to apply...
Not sure about accountancy, but traditionally the best uni's are located in... Oxford Cambridge Durham Manchester Nottingham Bristol Leeds you could research into these, although Oxford and Cambridge are pretty exclusive (obviously)... |

I'm gonna be loyal and say Exeter - we have a good record in Business & Economics, then there's obviously Sheffield (meet PY), York, LSE, UCL & Imperial.
Are you starting this September or in 2005?

Have a look at www.ucas.com and search for the courses in Accounting and Finance.
You'll be filling out your UCAS forms this Sept/October, so I'd spend the next few weeks/months ordering some prospectuses (prospectii?) from various Unis (I ended up with around 15) or from careers fairs, and going on some open days in February-June time. I know that we are having a couple next month. |
