    Ac/dc

Looks like it's coming to an end

    As a life-log fan - I salute you

3 greatest concerts I have seen are the Stones at Hammersmith, U2 in Dublin Harbour and AC/DC anywhere

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I'm really not sure what to believe though. They're still scheduled to record a new album next month. Another source says that Malcolm Young has gone back home with his family, so there may be some truth to this. **** me.

Ok, now it seems like there's a lot of truth to the Malcolm Young rumor. One of the admins on a huge fan site:

Been waiting for some arsehole to break this story - looks like we've found the arsehole.

It's out of respect for the band and its members that this site hasn't said anything earlier.

We're going to do the right thing and wait on an official announcement.
The rumor floating around the site is that Mal's got something ****ed up with his brain where he literally forgot how to play a guitar.

    Ah, awful news.

Never been a fan as such, but respect what they do.

When I got into rock music they were one of my first bands. Not currently on my iPod. Have seen them in concert. No explosions, no light show, just rock for 3 hours.

    fav songs

    whole lotta rosie
    jail break

Proudly against the bring back Bennett movement since he is injury prone and won't last 5 days.

Best thing about them is that they know their market and, in general, give them what they want (even I admit that a couple of their albums were ****)

You can literally envisage them playing the same set at the Newport Arms and Wembley

    Compare them to U2

Last time I saw them live they were atrocious as they were simply touring to promote a crap album

Rather than admitting the obvious, they trotted out songs that no-one wanted to hear and attempted to dress it up with Bono jumping out off a thing that looked like an egg and light shows

yeah ball breaker and albums of that ilk were not that great - I saw them after they had released that particular album. They did play 3 songs from it because management told them to, no doubt, and then the rest was the classics.

    Official word

After forty years of life dedicated to AC/DC, guitarist and founding member Malcolm Young is taking a break from the band due to ill health. Malcolm would like to thank the group’s diehard legions of fans worldwide for their never-ending love and support.

In light of this news, AC/DC asks that Malcolm and his family’s privacy be respected during this time. The band will continue to make music.

It's a great shame about Malcolm and I truly wish he and his family all the best, but I the band died with Bon. Johnson's voice sounds like broken glass, absolutely atrocious.
