    Sadly missed

I'm sitting at home bored, waiting for Thames Valley's finest to summon me to attend on a rather distasteful client with a predilection for ....... well perhaps I won't go into that, so have taken to reminiscing about those former regulars who we no longer see.

So which three posters would you most like to see back and why?

    For me

    1.Zaremba

    Why?

Never wasted a post, all worth reading and some of the withering put downs bring a smile to my face to this day

Cause of departure - too many kids

Likelihood of return - reckon we might see him this winter whilst he's being kept up all night by one or more of his 17 daughters under five years of age

    2. Lilian Thomson

    Why?

Irascible miserable old git - I always found him hugely entertaining

Cause of departure - irascible miserable old git

Likelihood of return - irascible miserable old git, so bound to at some point when he's sufficiently bored

    3. Loony Bob

    Why?

Before my time to be honest but sounds like, shall we say, quite a character - would be interested to learn more about his infamous style of modding too

Cause of departure - No idea - arrested and incarcerated for crimes against off topic possibly?

Likelihood of return - Well you never know

    Why?:

All round good egg, combining crashing good blokeness with a solid knowledge of all things cricket, music and AFL.

    Cause of departure:

Got a job in advertising and suddenly he was too good for CW. Or he wanted to change his online profile. One of the two.

    Likelihood of return:

Slim. If the Ashes didn't bring him back, nothing short of Carlton winning the GF seems likely too. & that's a hell freezing over scenario, if ever there was.

    Slow Love

    Why?:

The doyen of early-mid period CW. Always good value on anything and everything. Considered responses and no truck with cant.

    Cause of departure:

    Not known.

    Likelihood of return:

Negligible. Must be 5+ years since he took his leave.

    Swervy

    Why?:

Great taste in music. Hated Richard.

    Cause of departure:

    Hated Richard

    Likelihood of return:

Slim. His nemesis lies slain and no sign of the great man.

"as much a news event as an actual footballer, a worthy stop-start centre forward, but an all-time hyper-galactico when it comes to doing funny things with cars and hats, a player whose signing proves once again that the Premier League is still undoubtedly the best in the world when it comes to doing things with cars and hats."

Yeah, wish Pasag was still around.

Would suggest that Fred's desire to see Towns in action is somewhat questionable. Dark days, they were.

Made a brief comeback during the ashes the day Benchy returned, didn't last long though.

    Why?
Mainly for the lols. But also because I actually didn't mind the chap.
    Cause of departure
Probably dead at the hands of Buddhy Blackman.
    Likelihood of return
Zero. Probably has an ugly girlfriend that doesn't let him do anything he wants to.

    Why?
Mainly for the lols. Actually, entirely for the lols.
    Cause of departure
Probably dead at the hands of Buddhy Blackman.
    Likelihood of return
Zero. It all went downhill when his mates found his CW posts. The greatest nightmare of any CW'er with actual real life friends.

    benchmark01
    Why?
    He's benchmark00 but 1 point better.
    Cause of departure
    <footage missing>
    Likelihood of return
Likelihood of return entirely proportional to the probability of a benchmark00 banning.

Reckon Zac doesn't really do cricket any more, last time I saw him in Melbs he was deeply lost in Hipsterville. Beast of a man.

Why? Just a general good egg. Even though he supported Collingwood.

    Cause of departure: Unknown.

Likelihood of return: Slim. Hasn't even logged in in three years, at least pasag has given us heads up on his whereabouts.

    vcs

Why? Again, just a general good egg. He did have some dire moments before the time he left, but that board was rather heated anyway.

Cause of departure: Anger at CW, he admitted that he was losing his temper at certain posters.

Likelihood of return: Unlikely. Likely he's just lost all interest in the site.

    Simon

Why? Big time poster about rugby league and tennis, two sports which has lost a lot of activity in recent years IMO.

Cause of departure: Likely time constraints. He did make a temporary minor return earlier in the year.

Likelihood of return: Part-time is likely, but it's unclear about a full-time return.
