Surprising myself by voting against Uppercut but I'm going to do; fredfertang

Uppercut's been scarce in Cricket Chat the last year which saddens me. Hopefully the double Ashes brings him out of his safe haven in the English Football thread.

Fred brings a lot to the forum that no-one else does, and his historical knowledge of the game is unparalleled. A real asset to the forum, and that's before we even get into fact that he writes better cricket articles than 99% of paid professionals.

marc71178 - President and founding member of AAAS - we don't only appreciate when he does well, but also when he's not quite so good!

Anyone want to join the Society?

Beware the evils of Kit-Kats - they're immoral apparently.

It all makes sense now, Fertang is the 1%!

Anyway, Fred here. Mainly because as PEWS says, UC rarely ventures into CC anymore. When he does I always love reading his posts, but far too scarce. Come back ya ****.

Uppercut - Love the awesome economy of thought and the contrast between being an extremely nice guy otherwise to being a relentless asshole when playing devil's advocate.

Probably my favourite cricket poster, hands down.

Top chaps these. Enjoy talking to both.

Will have to go with Fred on this occasion, since he has provided some off-forum services recently.
