Perhaps a worthy nomination for places to live, but it's a fun place to visit on holiday and people on here will love it due to its shops and beaches. Reckon overall the GC isn't fake or trashy unless you've just spent all your time at Surfers

Plenty of goldfields towns around Victoria that sprang up with gold $$ but after it ran out had no other industry or businesses to sustain it. So there is infrastructure there, often quite magnificent, but a heap of generational poverty.

Actually most towns in the Riverina are **** holes. Dry and flat and boring as bat ****. The people reflect tha environment. And the area even takes more water than it should because it grows crops which are inappropriate for the environment.

Plus the drug growing down there, Robert Trimboli,
Donald Mackay etc.

Just a **** part of the country.

Sydney. The only good times I've had in Sydney have been in Bankstown, Parramatta and Penrith - and they're supposed the **** areas.

Really the answer is either Melbourne or Canberra. Or Queensland.

The last two there is nothing to do and the people who are from there are fat, ugly and dumb.
