Just for that, you are never getting the Ashes back.:P

Geez, you win one World Cup in overtime and you think you are good.

I suppose you will dine out on that for the next fifty years until you win a world cup in someother sport.
Only two states to be in - Queensland and drunk.

He's got a point though, I cant stand the way England rave about their world cup football victory all of 37 years ago, you would think it happened yesterday..

Yeah well, when you have little to celebrate you make the most of it. It does make it easier to celebrate though knowing England does have a team which is the best in the world not only because they won the World Cup, but also because they won the Grand Slam in the 6 Nations not long ago.

Not to mention beat all 3 major Southern Hemisphere sides in the last 12 months!

Say the inventors cricket, football and tennis among others...
Sreesanth said, "Next ball he was beaten and I said, 'is this the King Charles Lara? Who is this impostor, moving around nervously? I should have kept my mouth shut for the next ball - mind you, it was a length ball - Lara just pulled it over the church beyond the boundary! He is a true legend."

What have you won lately? :P

America gets to win the Baseball World Series every year, because the only teams that take part in it are American.
