Another Stupid Manee Poll
Hi...
Again curious about the results of this. If you think I'm a **** for asking such a benign and stupid question with no discernible reason, let me know...would appreciate if you voted anyway though... Thanks... |

Probably looks frankly. It's a pretty good ego boost if someone gives you a compliment about your looks...it's nice to be complimented about some aspect of your personality too, but, I dunno, for some reason I just don't care about it as much.

yeah thats really it.
Also thinks its a little to do with the idea that if someone gives you a compliment about your personality it might just be to do with them (e.g. if someone says your funny, it might just be because they find you funny). Where as if someone compliments your looks, its probably more likely more people find you the same way as well. |

"You're such a nice guy" is a death warrant for any chances tbh. Any other kind of compliment is nice though, whether about looks or personality.

Dunno, I'll tell you when I've received a compliment for either....

Voted for looks as well. I am probably less confident about my looks than my personality so could use the re-assurance. That said any compliment is welcome.

I don't like compliments in general. Probably if I was to express a preference for a compliment it would be on doing some work which turned out to be useful for the person for whom it was done. No point in doing a really good bit of work unless it's actually useful.

I would have said looks a few years ago, but I've had so many of them they grow tiresome.
Then again, everyone really likes me too. So I'd probably say I like them the same.

I voted personality.
For all the old gubbins about beauty being in the eye of the beholder and that, looks are really a lot less subjective than thinking someone is a good bloke. I'm guessing the creation of the poll is apropos of something, so is there something Manee wants to tell the rest of the class?
