Boult to Mathews, OUT, Caught at second slip! It was a length ball going across Angelo, who tried to hit it hard towards the leg side and got an outside edge that flew fast towards Guptill, who took a reflex catch in front of his face

She's used to having to fit small things inside other things.

Could've gone the 'box' route there too. Probably for the best that you didn't.

Don't underestimate the importance of keeping one side of the ball in good nick. Drift works on the same principles as swing bowling, so make sure you berate seamers who don't bowl seam up properly. They're screwing you by bowling bad.

Also, make sure you're not scrambling the seam. If you're scrambling the seam you won't get drift.

Drift is down to a combination of the Magnus effect (the same as soccer ball curl), conventional swing mechanics, and wind assistance. If you don't want to rely on the latter two which you often have little control over, work on putting plenty of revs on the ball.

    When Mitchell Johnson gets abused.

The guy averages 31 with the ball in a batting friendly era contributes with the bat and was MoS of Australia's best test series win since all their greats retired.
