Arjun, first Indian in US PGA Tour

Arjun Atwal qualfied into the US PGA Tour by finishing in 8th . Daniel Chopra , swede of Indian origin also qualified by finishing 6th. Arjun is also the highest earner in the Asian PGA tour history . That makes it three Indian origin players in the US PGA Tour . Wow !what a great year it has been for India allround

Good for him.

Well done. If he does anything like half as well as Vijay Singh in the next 10 years or so, he will be one to watch.

I love the Indian approach to sport - so laid back. Anyone remember Vijay and Annan Amritraj in the tennis?

Haven't watched them play but they are legends in Indian Sport. Vijay is doing commentary while Anand has turned into Hollywood producer/director (?) and is doing well in Hollywood now. Vijay Amritraj's son , Prakash (20 yrs) is also playing tennis now and is already India's no.1 player ( Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupati have stopped playing singles for 3-4 yrs now ) . But most of his points have come from wildcards given to him with Amritraj's help and now he is ranked near 300 with a potential to reach top-100. Leander is also on the verge of a milestone of becoming the 2nd highest number of singles wins in Davis Cup history. He is only 4 wins away.
