Train Journey

So I am going to be travelling for 4 hours on the train. Any suggestions to keep boredom away?

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta

Sleep
Read a book
Go online on your phone
Talk to Cribb
Listen to music

These are the options I've used in recent times.

Eat
Stretch my legs
Get some work done...
Talk to the person next to me (preferably a chick)
Listen to music and perhaps even dance a little
Develop cash flow projections, analyze financial statements and market sentiment for companies I look to invest in (honestly, a great way to kill time if you actively invest)
Surf the web (news articles, youtube videos)

My trick is usually
- Order beer
- Order Wifi
- Buy expensive sandwiches
- Doze a bit
- Watch a film
- Order Beer
- Figure out how to claim all the above on expenses.

Just did Bangalore to Chennai and Chennai to Hyderabad by train over the past three days. Best thing to do was sleep.

It's four hours FFS, read a book, listen to some music and look out the bloody window.

Once did a 33 hour train trip from Shanghai to Inner Mongolia on a seat (the sleeper tickets were sold out). People were doing the same trip but without seats as well - just standing up.
