Jeff Ament- Seriously good player with the groove I'm looking for. Thinking about him and Jimmy Chamberlain locking on to a groove together is like thinking about Myf Warhurst and Scarlett Johansson making out. Well, almost...

Keith Richards (guitar)
Beck Hansen (vocals and assorted stuff)
Jimmy Chamberlain (drums)
Jeff Ament (bass)

Going with Radiohead guitar god and floppy-haired sex-muffin Jonny Greenwood.

Was thinking about a drummer next, but doubt at least two of my three options will be picked at all, so when my iPod brought up Just on shuffle when I was walking home from work my mind was made up.

Band so far:

Jimi Hendrix - Guitar/vox
Jeff Buckley - Vox/guitar
John Entwistle - Bass
Jonny Greenwood - Guitar

Live like ten mins walk from work. This time of year it's genuinely quicker to walk than defrosting the car.

Found it interesting that you didn't go for "living" or "alive" there. Is he a mineral these days or something?

I think anyone who's ever read my posts would know I'm a fan of litotes generally, tbh.

Matt Helders

First pick that hasn't had songwriting as a consideration.

I really wanted Flea so now having trouble picking my bassist. Got it down to
Kim Gordon
or
Metallica's new bassist
or
RATM bassist

I want to take Kim - but I am afraid that the other members of the band won't agree with her on what style of music to play. I could see Slash and her collaborating. Am not so sure about Lars and her.

Will play it safe and go with Tim Commerford from Rage.
