    I think the scheme is somehow less generous to new joiners or somesuch.

    Brumby, you on the Classic then?

    I'm on the new one, started in 2008 n all (a few weeks before Northern Rock went to ****, talk about getting in just in time) - not sure how much they chuck in for me, but if I stay in service for my career I'll have 40 years in a Civil Service pension, which means all these years of living off super noodles will be worth it...
