how are you to know it wasnt the 'seniors golf day' at the local club? therefore, if there were a lot of 'seniors golf days' around the area, the law of averages would go the opposite way.:P

For it to be a senior day there must be more than 1 senior there.
Therefore there are more pets than Senior Golf Days.
Therefore there's more chances for pets to be drowned than senior Golf Days washed out.
