Did you see England vs Cameroon? 2-2 draw. How can people think we are going to win the World Cup if we can't beat Cameroon? We were outplayed the whole game as well! That's just what it's going to be like against Nigeria, apart from the fact that Nigeria are better! I like Cameroon's shirts though!

All you people from Australia and New Zealand, who you going to support in the World Cup? Australia were unlucky not to get there.
    There's only one Darren Gough!

Far too early for me... They're only friendlies after all, France only scraped past Korea 3-2 (Leboeuf last minute winner!), and Sweden drew 1-1 with Japan. As long as Emile Heskey doesn't play then we'll be fine, second round then out to France on penalties

Im still thinking either Italy or Argentina.

if Beckham doesn't play, England are screwed.
If Zidane doesn't play a couple of games for France, they might just suffer too.

Spain are actually shaping up nicely, but I still can't go past Italy or Argentina who have had good build-ups.

I agree with Neil. Argentina are better than Italy!

I think Ecuador are going to be miles better than Senegal in the newcomers spot.

Senegal are a better side than Ecuador but have a harder group, I think.

Ecuador are one of my outsiders to reach the next round, along with Korea, Japan and Slovenia.

And there are other newcomers, too... Slovenia, Costa Rica and China. Slovenia are the best of them IMO.

Costa Rica aren't a newcomer, remember Italia 90, the Scot's certainly do.

I may actually be tempted by a flutter on Senegal in the first game.

ha argentina better than italy?i dont think so.argentina's strength is its flair oriented soccer, but italy's defense is ultra strong and i do think that that neutralizes the attacking nature of argentina.on the other end, italy have a very good attack as well but argentina's defense isnt as good so i fell italy will get the better of argentina....

Turkey could have a good run due to the ludicrously lopsided groups.

I just took odds of 15-8 on an American continent side winning - considering the conditions, and the ability of Argentina and Brazil's easy route - I don't think it's a bad bet!

That's why you're called Reuben then right?

Here's an outside bet.. Japan to beat Brazil in the Second Round.

We'll see come the final. I say Argentina, you say Italy, we'll see...

Let's hope Argentina don't even make it...
