Any ten pin bowling fans here?

Bowling's the only sport I follow regularly other than cricket, if it can be called a sport that is. I'd just like to know if there are any other fans of bowling out here? If yes, do you bowl?

Sport has been ruined by chuckers IMO

No don't really follow it. It's a bit like a more energetic form of darts really. I mean, why waste the extra energy?

There's been a problem at my local bowling alley for a while now. There's this one guy who got kicked out and banned permanently a while back, and let's be clear about this, he was an utter dickhead. But he keeps trying to get back in and is using a variety of different aliases to get around his ban. We always find him out in the end though, and the pathetic bastard will disappear for a few months before trying the same old trick later on.

You'd think he might try another bowling alley, tbh.

Perhaps a similar one?

I can empathise really. I've been visiting my local bowling alley for more than eight years now and come back nearly every day even though most of the patrons are dull and obnoxious. I don't even bowl any more, or even talk about bowling. I'm not sure why I keep coming back.

As long as he didn't catch crabs in the process. That would ruin everything.

Yeah, he's clearly suffered enough afflictions already. It really would be best for all if that wasn't to happen.

Now let's not be all judgemental about crabs here.

Until recently I used to bowl all the time, a few months ago it felt like I must have bowled 10,000 times in a year. Become a bit more distant these days though, I mostly just comment on the newer people that come down to the alley.

You seem to have a strange obsession with asking everyone to rank other people's bowling skills. Just let them bowl in peace IMO. Mind you, I had the same problem a year or so ago.

I won bowler of the year last year, but then had a similar problem to sledger, but because of this problem I started calling everyone who ever smiled at that guy a ****, and they booted me for ages. Was a hard time, I wound up signing up for this alley that's ran by a robot to pass the time. Now I visit both.

Wow mate, lots of such people at bowling alleys these days. One bloke at mine came in a disguise and started making racist remarks against a particular community, was banned for 6 months from the alley IIRC. This was by no means his first offence, the guy is just a pathetic bastard who thinks he's funny. He has seemingly mended his ways since then but you know what they say about poisonous toadstools. I' m fairly confident that this dickhead will revert back to being his usual self sooner rather than later.
