i have never did this, so my answer is no

but 1 day i slept at night forgetting to shut down the computer. the shut down message "its now safe ...." was displayed on the computer screen whole throught the night and i noticed it only when i woke up :O

I never turn my PC off - it's always on overnight (but with the firewall up).

It's on most nights, so that I can wake up early and get back to work, not having to fumble around in sem-dreamland searching for buttons.

My computer's too loud, whenever I've slept with it on to download over night, it's kept me up. It's not far from my bed and it's too loud for me to forget to switch it off.

naa i never leave it on overnight, its usually on most of the day even if no one is using it, so it probably wouldnt be wise to leave it switched on for 24 hours a day.
