    The Flu Bug

So has anyone (in the UK i guess) had the misfortune of getting the flu in the current epidemic?

Most of us who are in danger have been told to leave school indefinitely, Ive had lessons with about three other people all day, (the other 12 have been infected).. All sport, meetings etc have been cancelled .. They are talking about completely closing the school down, and we have exams after christmas...

About 75% of my year have gone, and im the last person in my circle of people who havent gone down with the bug, I'm kind of waiting to get it in time for my Somerset trials on Thursday :!( :!(

    Anyone suffering????

    Nope.

Can't say I've ever had the flu proper (I've seen no end of people claim to have it then be up and about a couple of days later - pah!).

I've had a cold which is known as 'Freshers Flu' but I'm from the North, I'm hardcore . Never known people been sent home for it though, specially in large amounts.

Croquet, Croquet is a sport invented just so rich people can have an excuse to put a "croquet lawn" outside their house for students like me to have to flatten all summer :!(

Cricket was interesting today, two coaches with god knows how many first class wickets turned up, and me as the last surviving cricketer....

How many FC wickets between them out of interest?

    Intriguing. Who are they?

Not that I'm about to embark on another rant on inequity, but let's compare that to the two people who coached at my school last season:

PE Teacher - Level I - 0 FC Wickets - Never likely to take any either - and me.
