Why are there so many off-topic questions in Ramadan?

Is this some sort of in-joke or meme that I'm not savvy too?

I think people put "ramadan" before their Q so they feel justified placing in that category even though it has no relevance. Pointless.

After much research, this is what I found - Why are there so many off-topic questions in Ramadan? - Yahoo! UK & Ireland Answers

Apparently under the Ramadan section in Yahoo Answers, there are a lot of OT questions. Cribb was being a cheeky **** and copy pasted the answer.
